At the ADDYs event, held on February 22 in Sioux Falls, S.D., Paulsen won three silver awards and a special judge’s award.

“Every year, we enter several projects in the South Dakota ADDYs, which is a statewide awards show,” says Mark Smither, VP, strategic director. The bulk of Paulsen’s awards submissions are directed to the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) competition.

“We’re proud to be part of this dynamic and talented advertising community,” Smither says. “We enjoy seeing the excellent work being done by agencies in our area.”

Paulsen submitted six projects; three of these won awards. The South Dakota Corn Utilization Council’s This is Farming campaign, which included TV, radio, print, displays, digital and social media, won a silver in the competitive multi-platform category.

The Great Plains New Product Launch for Great Plains Manufacturing won a silver award as well as a special judge’s choice award. The launch included paid digital, paid and owned social, video, print, direct mail and events.

The Hunting Moose in Alaska video for ZEISS Optics also won a silver award. Lead Content Developer Derek Baune traveled to Alaska to document a father-son hunting trip in the Koyukuk National Wildlife Refuge for ZEISS. The video can be viewed here.
