Paulsen earned seven honors at the 2024 American Advertising Awards reception on Friday, February 23, in Sioux Falls. The awards event, commonly referred to as "the ADDYs," is hosted by the American Advertising Federation – South Dakota (AAF–SD) and attracts more than 40,000 entries each year.

Chief among the awards earned by Paulsen was a Best of Class designation in the Out of Home & Ambient Media category for an installation designed for South Dakota Soybean. The large-scale artwork resides within the new POET Bioproducts Insititute in Brookings and highlights the many innovative uses for soybeans.

"There were so many remarkable entries showcased throughout the evening at the ADDYs," said Paulsen President & CEO Marcus Squier. "I know how much work our team put into the South Dakota Soybean installation, so seeing it recognized as one of just a handful of Best of Class entries was extremely rewarding."

In addition to the Best of Class designation, Paulsen earned one gold honor:

  • Installation, Out of Home & Ambient Media (South Dakota Soybean)

Paulsen also won silver honors for the following entries:

  • Brand Elements, Self-Promotion (Paulsen)
