Harris Adamson joined Paulsen last month to serve in the role of project coordinator, addressing a critical need for the agency as it continues to grow its impact.

A Sioux Falls native, Harris graduated this spring from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. He majored in marketing but also earned a newly established project management minor during his studies there. "I took a project management class early on at Northwestern, and I really liked it," he explained. "I enjoy organizing things, communicating with co-workers and clients and working on media placements."

Harris appears well-suited for such a role as this that interfaces with teams, managing project timelines and helping to keep everyone on track to meet — and exceed — client expectations. "I generally have a calmer demeanor," he said. "I don't take things personally, which is usually helpful. I'm loving everything, honestly."

"Harris is going to be a fantastic addition for our team," said Marcus Squier, Paulsen President & CEO. "He has a great attitude and strikes us as someone who remains cool under pressure. His understanding of marketing — and, more importantly, project management — will position him well to succeed."

His four years at Northwestern were marked by growth and learning. "It was overall a really good experience. When you're in smaller classes, you get a lot of interaction with professors." A naturally introverted individual, he built strong social connections and ultimately served as a resident assistant on campus during his senior year.

Outside of work, Harris enjoys playing board games and card games with family and friends. He also keeps active, whether that's riding his bike, playing volleyball or joining friends for a round of disc golf.
