Full Stack Developer
Our ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of design, branding, communication technologies, user experience and user-interface design. Add to that a passion for changes in the industry and an appetite for learning. You’ll be designing and programming innovative UI for national brands.
Responsibilities
Work closely with a team of other designers, writers, programmers and an account service team
Recommend appropriate UX/UI solutions and advocate for the user experience
Be experienced in the application of user-centered philosophies and interactive design
Demonstrate the ability to quickly execute design work and programming with a high standard for quality within time and technical constraints
Programming and design-related tasks related to front-end development of responsive websites and web apps
Develop server-side functionality using PHP and Craft CMS's Twig templating language, including custom plugin development and extending Craft's core functionality.
Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories, and assist with deployment and configuration management processes.
Produce email templates and additional digital creative elements
Desired Skills & Experience
- Web and Mobile Portfolio
Showcase a killer web-based portfolio of work on web and mobile platforms.
- Educational and Professional Background
4-year degree or equivalent work experience in a related design discipline.
Minimum of five years of professional Full Stack Development experience.
- Comprehensive Web Development Skills
Complete understanding of HTML, including semantics and document structure.
Proficiency in CSS for creating maintainable and efficient stylesheets.
Basic understanding of PHP.
Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., webpack).
Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and concepts of progressive enhancement and graceful degradation.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
Understanding of onsite SEO and content hierarchy.
Awareness of ADA compliance issues and solutions.
Awareness of GDPR, CCPR and other privacy compliance issues and solutions.
- Design Skills and Tools Proficiency
Strong eye for design and appreciation for typography.
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Development and Deployment
Rapidly prototype and iterate on designs.
Ability to contribute to statements of work and accurately estimate time for task completion.
Ensure top-tier delivery of web and e-commerce applications.
Manage development projects from concept to launch.
Oversee DevOps activities, including deployments and automation, specifically utilizing AWS.

Bonus Qualifications
Working knowledge of Adobe Publishing Suite a plus
Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/PostCSS)
Comfort with version control workflows and tools (preferably Git)
Experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as AngularJS, React
Experience working with Craft CMS and twig templates.js
