Design Intern
We’re looking for three ambitious college students who want to learn what it's like to work at a marketing agency. As a Paulsen intern,
you’ll get to work with a team of smart marketers and gain valuable,
real-world experience. This is a full-time paid internship opportunity,
so get ready to be challenged and inspired.
Our internship team for 2025 will have two members:
One account service intern
One interns selected from these areas of interest:
- Design
- Writing
- Public relations
- Social and paid media
- Website development

Job details:
- 12-week internship from May through August
- $15.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
Design
Are you a student interested in building real-world graphic design experience with an award-winning team? We’re looking for a talented designer with fresh, creative ideas and an excellent eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Create and design print and digital materials
- Complete projects according to deadline
- Retouch and manipulate images
- Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
- Collaborate with the creative director and copywriters to develop design concepts
- Receive feedback from the creative director and account service team and make necessary changes
- Assemble final presentation material for printing as needed
Requirements
- Graphic design major preferred
- Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color and other graphic design fundamentals
- Experience with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Compelling portfolio of graphic design work
