Paulsen can add another accolade to its rich 75-year history: "National Best of Show" in the Public Relations category, announced during the National Agri-Marketing Association's awards reception on April 15, 2026, in St. Louis.

Ascending the ranks through the Internal Events category, Paulsen's work for Dairy Management Inc. (DMI) and National Milk Producers Federation on collateral for its joint annual meeting stood out in a crowded field brimming with stellar creative and strategic execution.

"We are beyond excited to bring home this honor," said Paulsen President & CEO Marcus Squier. "It speaks volumes about the trust DMI has placed in our team, and it also says a lot about the big purpose everyone at Paulsen feels in supporting agriculture, energy and other industries that make a big impact on our rural communities and the world at large."

In the fall of 2024, Dairy Management Inc. asked Paulsen to design event collateral — theme and booth graphics, signs, banners and other displays — for its joint annual meeting, centered around the theme, "Reimagining Dairy's Future." That effort continues to deliver in ways big and small, including with this monumental win at the industry's signature awards event.

“Paulsen has been a great creative strategic partner in the planning and execution of the joint annual meeting,” said Joanna Hunter, group executive vice president and head of farmer relations and outreach for DMI. “Their unique insights as it relates to agriculture and rural communities helps us create an engaging, relevant meeting for our dairy farmer attendees.”

The joint annual meeting design elements earned regional Best of NAMA recognition at the Region 3 awards reception earlier this year, but not the top honors. All regional award-winning entries were eligible for submission to the National Best of NAMA competition.

"This was a concept we believed in right from the start," said Allyse Steffen, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Paulsen. "Tapping into a sense of pride within leaders across the dairy industry and aligning them around the impactful, collaborative work happening to secure a brighter future for dairy farmers is really important to us. The 'Reimagining Dairy's Future' annual meeting collateral really succeeded in this regard."
