We’re looking for three ambitious college students who want to learn what it's like to work at a marketing agency. As a Paulsen intern, you’ll get to work with a team of smart marketers and gain valuable, real-world experience. This is a full-time paid internship opportunity, so get ready to be challenged and inspired.

Our internship team for 2021 will have three members:

One account service intern
Two interns selected from these areas of interest:

  • Design
  • Writing
  • Public relations
  • Social and paid media
  • Website development

Job details:

  • 12-week internship from May through August
  • $12.00 per hour, 40 hours per week

Account Service

As an account service intern, you will gain hands-on work experience by collaborating with every department in our agency. You will also sit-in on several internal and client meetings to better understand how an agency works.

Responsibilities

  • Support the account service team in daily administrative tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
  • Prepare promotional presentations
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Perform market analysis and research on the competition
  • Help organize marketing events
  • Additional marketing functions, as assigned

Requirements

  • Advertising or marketing major preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • Basic knowledge of marketing platforms, like HubSpot or SharpSpring
  • Basic knowledge of social media advertising platforms
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
